Ponca Visit...a month late :/

So here is a re-cap of our visit to Ponca to see Papa Charlie and his Great Nanny and Papa.

We had his FIRST visit to the ranch which was a success and it was SO fun to watch him stare at all the horses and cows. We can't wait til he 'really' gets what they are and can enjoy it more! We ate LOTS of good food, including one of my childhood favorites: money pancakes! Blake jokes that we need to get a second stomach for when we are with my family just because there is always SO much good food to be had :) Needless to say, I never met a Mertz who was a picky eater ;).
We had so much fun playing with our cousins and aunts too! Blake loved working on the ranch, hauling some hay, and then taking a good ole cowboy nap :) I think he was a cowboy in another life. He is the hardest worker I know and fits right in with the Mertz Men.
We adored every minute of this trip and can NOT wait to get back up there!

the BEST family in the WORLD!
There is truly no family that compares to our, goofy, fun loving, cRaZy, hard working, Jesus loving, servants heart, creative family...So many prayers are sent awnry up that even though Hatch isn't carrying on the Mertz name that inherits qualities and characteristics from the Mertz side.
